Farm Supervisor — ABBYCEL SUBSTRATE, Abbotsford BC (CAD 24/hour, LMIA Approved, 2 Vacancies)

Abbotsford is the heart of BC's berry and greenhouse belt, and ABBYCEL SUBSTRATE LTD. is adding a farm supervisor (NOC 82030) there — 2 vacancies, approved LMIA, applications accepted from candidates with or without a valid Canadian work permit. Closing date: 28 October 2026.

The setup

A substrate operation supplies and works with growing media — the root of everything grown under glass and in containers. As supervisor you'd run the daily rhythm: organizing work across a crew, overseeing growing and crop-related operations, general farm supervision, shift and weekend coverage included. It's permanent, full-time work at 30 hours per week with morning, day and weekend shifts.

Pay and conditions

• CAD 24.00 per hour, 30 hours per week
• Permanent employment, full time
• Shift, flexible hours, weekends as needed
• On site — Abbotsford, BC
• 2 vacancies

What they ask for

• No degree, certificate or diploma required
• Experience an asset — the posting keeps the bar reachable
• English

That "experience an asset" line cuts both ways: it lowers the paper barrier for overseas applicants, but it also means your CV has to carry the proof. Crew sizes, crops, seasons — be specific.

How to apply

The button below opens the official Job Bank posting (#50046577). Direct Apply requires a free Job Bank account — that's the entire process. No agent, no fee, no middleman.

The standing rule

The LMIA is the employer's cost and stays there. Work permit after a genuine offer; not permanent residence. Anyone who promises otherwise — or asks you to pay for the connection — has just identified themselves as the problem.
